The costs depend on where you want protection, the number of classes of goods or services and the advice you require. Our fees are listed below. All amounts exclude VAT and any work involved in handling objections or oppositions.

These fees apply to our basic online registration service. A comprehensive search for similar trademarks and the additional advice listed below are not included. Handling any objections or oppositions falls outside the basic fee.
Your registration includes free trademark monitoring for the first year. This allows us to identify new trademark applications that may conflict with your trademark. After the first year, you can continue the monitoring service through a subscription.

What is a class?
When registering a trademark, you specify the goods or services for which you want protection. These are grouped into categories known as Nice classes.
Clothing, for example, falls into a different class from legal services. Depending on your activities, you may need one or more classes. Within those classes, the specification defines the goods and services for which you are seeking protection.

Frequently asked questions about costs
Is the free trademark screening without obligation?
Yes. There is no charge for the automated screening, and you are under no obligation to request registration or advice afterwards.
The screening is a preliminary check for identical trademarks within the classes searched. It does not guarantee that your trademark can be registered or used.
Is a comprehensive trademark search included in the basic registration service?
No. A search for similar trademarks and an assessment of potential conflicts are covered by our comprehensive trademark search and advice service at €495 excluding VAT.
What happens if an objection or opposition is raised?
Handling objections or oppositions is not included in the registration fees listed. If additional work is required, we discuss the options and costs with you.
How much does trademark monitoring cost after the free first year?
After the first year, you can continue the monitoring service through a subscription. Please ask us for the fee applicable to your trademark and the geographical coverage you require.
